Video: Inside The A350-1000 Ahead Of SAF-Blend Flight
Aviation Week Network’s senior editor for Air Transport, Christine Boynton provides an overview of the A350-1000 aircraft that will fly at the Singapore Airshow 2024 using a 35.67% blend of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) supplied by Shell Aviation and certified by the International Sustainability Carbon Certification (ISCC). The feedstock is used cooking oil and tallow.
Currently, all of Airbus’ aircraft are rated to fly with a 50% blend of SAF, with the goal of increasing this to 100% by 2030.
