Dublin Aerospace has entered into an agreement with avionics giant Honeywell to become an authorized partner to provide maintenance services for its 131-9A and 131-9B auxiliary power units (APUs).
The partnership will see the MRO become a Honeywell channel partner, providing customers with Honeywell-approved overhaul, repair, modification, and testing services for the 131-9A, found on Airbus A320 family aircraft, and 131-9B APU installed on Boeing 737NG and Max aircraft.
Dublin Aerospace already provided repairs on the models at its Dublin site, but the company says the authorization by the OEM will see it benefit from advanced training and technical support.
The company’s APU offerings also include 331-200, 331-250, 331-350 and 85 Series.
“Not only does this partnership further highlight our expertise and capabilities in the aerospace MRO space, but allows us to provide additional benefits to our customers,” says William Flaherty, CEO at Dublin Aerospace. He adds that customers will further benefit from reduced maintenance costs, reliable supply chain, access to guaranteed OEM material, and quick turnaround times.
The new partnership further adds to Dublin Aerospace’s capability following the opening of a landing gear facility in Meath specializing in Airbus A320 and Boeing B737 landing gear overhaul.
