U.S. carrier Breeze Airways will add two more regional airports to its network as it continues to build a service map composed mostly of non-competitive routes.
New to the carrier’s lineup are Portsmouth International Airport (PSM) in New Hampshire and Montrose Regional Airport (MTJ) in Colorado.
From Oct. 9, Breeze will open service from PSM to Orlando—then add a route the following day to Fort Myers, Florida. The two routes will each be flown 2X-weekly with Airbus A220-300 aircraft.
From Dec. 21, the airline will kick off service from MTJ to two destinations: Orange County, California, and Provo, Utah. Both services are winter seasonal and will be flown 5X-weekly.
“Breeze is all about connecting cities without existing nonstop options,” Breeze CEO David Neeleman said in a statement. “It’s exciting to add two more cities to our national network and more nonstop routes to our Florida and West Coast destinations.”
Notable other route announcements by Breeze (also to be flown with A220-300s) include 2X-weekly service between Grand Junction, Colorado, and Las Vegas starting Jan. 9, 2025. Also, from Nov. 21 the carrier will launch 2X-weekly flights between New York Stewart International Airport and Vero Beach, Florida.
Neeleman, who founded the carrier in 2021, believes it can eventually operate as many as 2,000 routes.
