Embraer’s E190F cargo conversion will make its first public appearance at the Farnborough Airshow, on July 22-26, after performing its maiden flight earlier this year.
The airframer projects it will reach historic E-Jet peak production in a few years, while studies for a larger narrowbody include wing and fuselage concepts.
Embraer has decided to focus the concept studies for its Energia family of regional aircraft on aircraft sized at around 50 seats, upping development time.
The new airports will be of interest both to flag-carrier Oman Air and to LCC SalamAir. The latter airline signed for six Embraer E195-E2s in October 2022.
