Embraer has delivered the first Praetor 600 business jet to South Korea and sent it the country’s Flight Inspection Services Center.
The jet manufacturer collaborated with Aerodata AG, a German prime contrator and flight-inspection equipment manufacturer to gain this first type certification and delivery to South Korea’s Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, Seoul Regional Office Aviation Flight Inspection Center.

According to Embraer, the Praetor 600 is equipped with Aerodata’s AeroFIS flight-inspection system and will be used for commissioning, periodic and special inspections. According to Aviation Week data, the aircraft arrived in South Korea in late September, following a 14-month completion by Aerodata in Singapore.
The upgrades made by Aerodata are designed to assist flight operators in maintaining and calibrating air-navigation systems across the country. The Praetor 600 offers a range of 4,018 nm and features a full fly-by-wire control suite.
