The crux of the matter is that the aircraft radar altimeter receivers were not constructed to ignore signals outside their authorized band. The 5G companies should not have to work around the broken radar altimeter receivers. The aircraft owners should fix their radar altimeter receivers so they are compliant with the radar altimeter transmitters.
