Frontier Airlines To Boost Philadelphia Flying 47% For Summer 2024

U.S. ULCC Frontier Airlines will start service to 12 new destinations from Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) in May, boosting its daily departures from the Pennsylvania airport 47% year-over-year for the 2024 summer schedule.

The carrier, an all-Airbus A320-family operator, has unveiled 10 more routes to launch from PHL in May, having previously announced 2X-daily service to Pittsburgh starting May 16 and daily flights to Minneapolis-St. Paul commencing May 21.

From May 16, Frontier will open 3X-weekly service from PHL to Knoxville, Tennessee; Portland, Maine; and Milwaukee, Wisconsin. On the same date, it will commence daily service between PHL and Detroit. 
 
From May 21, the carrier will launch daily flights from PHL to Chicago O’Hare and 3X-weekly service to Indianapolis. From May 22, Frontier will offer flights from PHL to Columbus, Ohio (3X-weekly); St. Louis (4X-weekly) and Kansas City (3X-weekly ), in Missouri; and Pensacola, Florida (3X-weekly).

Denver-based Frontier will serve 39 destinations from PHL on its summer schedule, flying an average of 44 daily departures.
