Jetcraft Commercial, the commercial division of aircraft trading and leasing firm Jetcraft, reported increasing demand for regional aircraft in 2024.
The Raleigh, North Carolina-based company closed 17 deals over the year, including the final placements among 19 de Havilland Canada Dash 8-400s it acquired from U.S. regional carrier Horizon Air in 2023. Companies acquiring the Dash 8s have ranged from Air Panama and Somali-owned Daallo Airlines to Canada-based Conair Aerial Firefighting.
“Our leading position in the Dash 8-400 market and expertise in efficiently structuring deals to meet client needs has driven significant strategic growth,” Jetcraft Commercial President Raphael Haddad said. “This extends across Europe, the Americas, Asia-Pacific and Africa.”
Jetcraft Commercial transactions in 2024 included Bombardier CRJ200 regional jets and ATR 72-500 turboprops, although the company declined to give numbers of individual types placed over the year. It also declined to give details of the number of aircraft in its inventory.
Jetcraft has a portfolio ranging from new to mid-life aircraft. Its assets range in size from DHC-6 Twin Otters to Boeing 737-900s.
“Moving forward, we’re committed to fueling aviation connectivity, sourcing and placing aircraft in support of emerging as well as developed markets,” Haddad said. “The deals we specialize in create economic growth, support fleet expansion and strengthen networks worldwide.”
