The Israeli leisure carrier announced in May that it plans to acquire a further 50% in the MRO provider.

Routes selects 50 new air services set to start around the world in April 2022, looking at the planned frequency, start date and aircraft to be used.

The launch of flights follows an agreement to normalize diplomatic relations.

Israeli charter operator Israir has already applied for a number of slots between TLV and AUH and, according to Israeli media, leisure carrier Arkia also plans flights to DXB from Jan. 3, 2021.

Israir, the third-largest carrier in Israel, has moved forward with plans to begin a commercial route between Tel Aviv and the United Arab Emirates.
