Aviation Week Editor Wins Aerospace Media Award

Adrian Schofield, Aviation Week’s senior air transport editor for the Asia-Pacific, won the top honor for Best Asian Aviation Analysis at the 2024 Asian Aerospace Media Awards.

The award, announced at a Feb. 20 ceremony in Singapore, honored Schofield for a 2023 story he wrote on the market implications of major aircraft orders placed by Air India.

The in-depth article was featured on AviationWeek.com, the Aviation Week Intelligence Network, and in the Feb. 27-March 12, 2023, edition of Aviation Week & Space Technology magazine.

This year marked the third edition of the aerospace awards in Asia. The honors are held every two years, coinciding with the Singapore Airshow. Similar Aerospace Media Awards will be presented this summer in London to coincide with the 2024 Farnborough Airshow.
