Gogo, a leading American provider of in-flight connectivity, with ad placement on the Las Vegas Sphere. Gogo Business Aviation is advancing a new Ku-band offering called Galileo that connects with the Eutelsat OneWeb constellation of low Earth orbit (LEO) satellites. The Broomfield, Colorado-based company expects Galileo service to begin this year.

In Gogo’s static display at Henderson Executive Airport, they showcased the various options it provides for in-flight connectivity. Gogo offers both air to ground systems in North America or Global coverage with its LEO Satellite systems.

According to the Honeywell website the JetWave X is “The only multi-network Ka-band satcom solution, JetWave X delivers a better connected-aircraft experience for business jet owners, operators, flight crews, and passengers.” Utilizing the ViaSat-3 network JetWave delivers up to 200 Mpbs download speed.

The Starlink Aero Terminal flat antenna is attached to the top of the fuselage with a conformal adapter and fairing. With installation and supplemental type certificate, total cost of equipping for Starlink ranges from about $225,000 for a Beech King Air or light jet up to $350,000 to $400,000 for large-cabin aircraft.
