Video: Global 6000 - A Glimpse of Elegance And Sustainability At EBACE 2024
Angus Batey, Aviation Week Network's Show News writer, had an exclusive look inside the Global 6000 at EBACE 2024.
This aircraft features a unique and elegant design aimed at providing a relaxing experience for passengers. An entirely new cabin, and a fresh paint job to the exterior, were completed while the aircraft was undergoing its 120-month check. The owner wanted the cabin to feel like a home away from home, and the design was inspired by this concept. English yacht designer Andrew Winch, in his first major project for a larger jet, designed the interior. The exterior paint was completed by General Atomics in Germany.
The Global 6000 is operated by Alliance Executive Jet, based in Malta. The business aircraft has a mobile base and when not on charter, it is stationed at its headquarters in Dublin.
Throughout the show, the Global 6000 is displaying a QR code on the outside of the aircraft to showcase its carbon neutrality. Every flight has been and will continue to be offset, and sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) will be used whenever possible.
The owner is planning to put the Global 6000 up for charter, and the aircraft is already generating interest.
