Angus Batey, a writer for Aviation Week Network’s Show News, discusses the ACH175, which is being exhibited at EBACE for the first time, and this aircraft is for sale. This presents a rare opportunity as very few are made in this configuration. Many of these helicopters are used by Heads of State and government clients, with some also owned by private individuals.
The Airbus 175 is a long-range helicopter and is the largest in the ACH family. It features a unique Line cabin that can accommodate up to 12 people. In an offshore-type application, it has the capacity to hold up to 16 passengers.
The term "Line" is used by Airbus’s Corporate Helicopters to denote the basic cabin configuration of the helicopter, with additional room for tailoring and customization options to meet the needs of the owner or individual. Across the ACH range, these options are referred to as Exclusive, Editions and Bespoke.
