FAA has issued airworthiness directive 2018-25-01 for all Rolls-Royce Trent 1000-As, 1000-Cs, 1000-Ds, 1000-Es, 1000-Gs and 1000-Hs, requiring initial inspections of the intermediate-pressure compressor stage 1 rotor blades, stage 2 rotor blades, and shaft stage 2 dovetail posts, removing any cracked parts from service, and repetitive inspections of the blades and posts, effective December 21, 2018.
