The Civil Aviation Administration of China has decided to further reduce the number of international passenger flights. Each Chinese airline is only allowed to maintain one route to any specific country with no more than one flight per week. Each foreign airline is only allowed to maintain one route to China with no more than one weekly flight. Airlines shall strictly implement the latest edition of Preventing Spread of Coronavirus Disease 2019 Guideline for Airlines issued by the Office of China Civil Aviation Prevention and Control COVID-19 Leading Group, take stringent prevention and control measures on the flights to and from China and ensure passenger load factor is no higher than 75%. Airlines may operate all-cargo flights with passenger aircraft, which will not be counted against the total number of passenger flights operated.

FAA has issued emergency airworthiness directive 2020-07-51 for International Aero Engines AG V2522-A5s, V2524-A5s, V2525-D5s, V2527-A5s, V2527E-A5s, V2527M-A5s, V2528-D5s, V2530-A5s and V2533-A5s, requiring the removal from service of affected high pressure turbine 1st-stage disks.
