FAA has issued airworthiness directive 2019-24-01 for Airbus A318s and A319s, A320-211s, -212s, -214s, -231s, -232s and -233s, A321-111s, -112s, -131s, -211s, -212s, -213s, -231s and -232s, A330-200s and A330-200 Freighters, A340-200s and -300s, A340-500s and -600s, except for airplanes equipped with flammability reduction means approved by the FAA, requiring modifying the fuel quantity indicating system to prevent development of an ignition source inside the center fuel tank due to electrical fault conditions, effective Feb. 19, 2020.
