Pilatus To Acquire Aircraft Maintenance Business From Aero Centers Epps
Pilatus has entered an agreement with Aero Centers Epps to acquire the authorized Pilatus sales and service center at Atlanta’s Dekalb-Peachtree Airport (PDK).
Since 1996, Aero Centers Epps has operated as an authorized Pilatus sales and service center for the southeastern U.S., including through its acquisition by SAR Trilogy Management (SAR-T) in 2022. According to Pilatus, the SAR-T owner decided to sell the maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) division to “better focus on its FBO, non-Pilatus maintenance and aircraft management and charter business.”
With the sale, the approximately 40 current employees at the facility will operate within the Pilatus Group, which will be the sole owner of the location.
“With this acquisition we want to safeguard and further improve the continuity and quality of our award-winning services on the southeast coast of the USA,” says Pilatus CEO Markus Bucher. “I’m delighted that we will have the expertise and the employees on board with us, and that we can continue to offer our customers a first-class service.”
According to Pilatus, it will continue to provide PC-12 and PC-24 aircraft sales activities at the facility, along with “comprehensive support over the entire life cycle of a Pilatus aircraft, including MRO services, avionics and spare parts sales.
