Skyborne Airline Academy Expands Order For Bye eFlyer Trainers To 40
Skyborne Airline Academy has signed a letter of intent with Bye Aerospace for 30 eFlyer electric training aircraft, bringing its total commitment to 40.
Skyborne is based in Vero Beach, Florida. The order expands Bye’s total order backlog to 889 aircraft, which includes the two-seat eFlyer 2 the four-seat eFlyer 4, valued at $570 million. The company is also designing the eight-seat eFlyer 800 turboprop. In all, Bye’s orderbook exceeds 1,000 aircraft and $1.4 billion.
Bye Aerospace, based in Denver, plans to produce eFlyer serial number 001 within the next 12 months, with full FAA certification and customer deliveries expected in 2025.
