Comlux Completion delivered this Airbus ACJ TwoTwenty to Comlux Aviation on Feb. 20 from its facility in Indianapolis. This aircraft took 10 months to complete.

The ACJ’s TwoTwenty includes 786 ft.2 of cabin floor area (73 m2), which enables multiple “rooms,” such as this main lounge and dining area. This aircraft included lots of custom finishes.

It also includes a private suite with couches that fold out.

The en suite with shower is located aft of that.

During the delivery ceremony, Richard Gaona, Comlux executive chairman and CEO, said the company employs 300 people in Indianapolis. It operates 25 private aviation aircraft, including the two ACJ TwoTwentys.

Comlux designed this hangar for completions, so all of the workshops—such as avionics, design, engineering, structural and electrical—surround the hangar and feed into it. Comlux opened this facility in 2011. This is the third ACJ TwoTwenty in for completion. It should be finished by the end of 2024.

The design center features a variety of upholstery and finishes that customers can select for their interior.

There is a natural flow in the facility so completions flow from design to engineering, documentation, purchasing and scheduling.
