From The Archives: Two Important Jobs Face Geisse In New CAA Personal Plane Post

Government regulations for private flying is about to be simplified, as we reported in the Jan. 15, 1945 issue of our magazine, back then published as Aviation News.  

Civil Aeronautics Administration's personal aviation representative John H. Geisse said that the business of personal aviation and the business of government regulation of flying should be left up to the pilot, responsible for his actions rather than trying to cover his every action by regulation.
