More than 43,900 commercial engines will be delivered over the 10-year 2025-34 period, according to the Aviation Week Commercial Fleet & MRO Forecast. CFM International accounts for over half of all deliveries during the period, while Pratt & Whitney is featured in second place, with a share of 22%.
Driven by the expected growth in the global single aisle fleet, the LEAP and PW1000G will see the highest volume of deliveries, representing just over 80% of all shipments. In the widebody sector, more than 2,300 GENX types will be delivered on 787 aircraft, while the expansion of the A350 fleet will drive deliveries of over 2,400 TRENT XWB engines.
