The revamped Terminal 2 exemplifies Changi Airport's continued focus on future-forward innovation and elevating the passenger journey. Expansions to travel facilities, including departure, immigration, and baggage claim, are seamlessly integrated with innovative new attractions. The Wonderfall, a mesmerizing digital waterfall, and Dreamscape, an immersive indoor garden with a real-time digital sky, offer unique and memorable experiences.
Other infrastructure upgrades including enhancements to baggage handling, check-in, immigration, and Skytrain systems are also underway. These improvements are aimed at ensuring a more efficient and pleasant travel experience for passengers, while enabling airlines to optimize their operations.
Looking ahead, the Changi East development and upcoming Terminal 5 represents a significant investment in Changi’s long-term capacity. Construction of this state-of-the-art terminal, which will commence this year, will significantly expand Changi’s capacity, allowing us to accommodate future growth and maintain our position as a leading global air hub.
