The General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA), in collaboration with the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), officially opened the fourth edition of ICAO’s Global Implementation Support Symposium (GISS) this morning in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Set against the backdrop of the emirate’s vibrant culture and rich aviation heritage, this year’s event focuses on sustainability and artificial intelligence (AI) while ensuring the continued safety and security of aviation operations.
