TakeOff 2019, will include targeted, pre-scheduled and Fast Track One-to-One Meetings with Network Planners as well as a dedicated air service development conference program.
Held at The Westin Lake Mary, the event is being supported by Orlando Sanford International Airport and the two-day event includes ½ day conference program and 1 ½ day scheduled meetings as well as an informal social evening and industry networking opportunities. It is a platform for airline-airport one-to-one meetings in the US designed with smaller airports in mind.
“'Orlando Sanford International Airport is excited to welcome airlines and airports for this exciting event. Known for our attractions, we look forward to showcasing the many other features of central Florida and how SFB is the simplest, fastest and best way to get here!” stated Diane Crews, Airport President & CEO.
TakeOff is being delivered by ASM North America, who will be on-site to provide guidance in best practice as well as educational air service development sessions. ASM North America is the latest branch of the world’s leading air service development consultancy, ASM (Airport Strategy & Marketing), which has assisted airports, airlines, tourism authorities and governments in the development of new air services since 1993.
"There are a greater number of smaller airports than larger ones, but there wasn't a speed-dating style conference focused on them that can attract all the airlines they need to meet with until we introduced TakeOff", said Ilona Cambron. "We’re delighted that TakeOff is back for its second year and these airports will benefit from the special attention they deserve, and enjoy sunny Florida at the same time!" Ilona Cambron, director – air service development, ASM North America.
