There are seven weeks until Routes CIS opens in Ekaterinburg and scheduling for the event is due to open next week, on Tuesday 8th May. The attendee list for Routes CIS is now available online and is getting stronger each day.
In total 23 carriers are currently registered to attend Routes CIS in 2012. For Airports within the CIS market there is significant interest from carriers looking to develop their network in the CIS region. China Southern already serves three markets, Middle East majors, Etihad Airways and Qatar Airways, and low-cost carriers Pegasus Airlines and flydubai all have strong networks into the CIS and will be in attendance. Whilst Czech Airlines, which operates into the CIS market for SkyTeam is bringing three delegates.
For airports looking to meet with carriers from within the CIS region, Rossiya Russian Airlines, S7 Airlines, Tatarstan Airlines, TUI Russia & CIS, UTair Aviation and Aerosvit Airlines are also signed up. Other registered carriers which may be interesting to the European market are VIM Airlines and Kuban Airlines as VIM has links to Barcelona and Basel whilst Kuban has begun flights to Frankfurt and Istanbul.
Airport registrations at this stage indicate that small regional airports will be out in force with recent registrations from Kaliningrad Khrabrovo Airport, Belgorod Airport and Barnaul Airport. There will also be a large non-regional presence in Ekaterinburg with particularly strong representation from German Airports with registrations confirmed from Bremen, Cologne Bonn, Frankfurt-Hahn, Hannover and Munich Airports.
These are just some of the companies who have already registered to attend this year’s Routes CIS event and with more confirmations being received each day the list can only get better!
