Network Strategy
Lufthansa Italia links Milan Malpensa with major European cities, including some limited leisure destinations. Lufthansa Italia has adopted a "Three Pillar Approach" to its network planning:
1. To enhance the current network and improve slots.
2. To enhance the domestic network
3. To look at serving more leisure destinations with flights to the Mediterranean and some destinations in North Africa and the Canary Islands.
Airline Requirements
To find potential new markets and support its own route assessments, Lufthansa Italia is welcoming relevant market data such as route developments, information on the local market (leisure/corporate) and on published incentive schemes from airports which would like to link their airport to Milan-Malpensa with Lufthansa Italia.
The carrier is interested in all European markets and its neighbouring countries.
