Routes Africa offers meeting platforms that cater for all route development requirements and scheduling for this year’s event in the Seychelles opened on 28thMay and will run for another two weeks until Friday 28thJune 2012.
During the event airlines, airports and tourism authorities will meet privately to discuss new market opportunities and route performance at pre-scheduled face-to-face meetings. Based as far as possible on delegate requests, these meetings are arranged prior to the event and a personal diary is issued on arrival. It is the quality of our attendees and our attention to the one-to-one meetings which makes Routes Africa the place to do business.
As an airport or tourism authority delegate with meetings at Routes Africa simply log into your Routesonline profile, enter your Personal Registration Code (PRC) in the box provided and follow the links to access your personal meeting request page.
From here you can submit, review or edit your meeting requests and priorities at any time until scheduling closes on Thursday 28thJune 2012, including a countdown of how many requests you have still to submit. You may also request meetings for other delegates within your company, invite them to your meetings and view the requests made by your colleagues. You should ensure that you submit your meeting requests in priority order including reserve options.
Airline Delegates wishing to request pre-scheduled one-to-one meetings should email their requests directly to Adam Smith.
In addition to the pre-scheduled meetings included in every airport’s attendance package, airports attending Routes Africa can now request further meetings with other airports at no additional cost.
These ‘City Pair’ meetings will allow the two airports to identify new opportunities, share ideas and approaches, exchange data and contacts and jointly plan market to market strategies and presentations. For airlines ‘City Pair’ meetings can provide a complete picture without the need to reconcile data and have multiple meetings.
‘City Pair’ meetings are subject to confirmation from the other party and up to five meetings can be requested by each attending airport delegate by emailing Simon Baxendale.
If your delegate package includes a diary of pre-scheduled meetings and you haven’t made your requests yet make sure you get them in as soon as possible to avoid disappointment as diaries are filling up fast!
