KLM ADDS SEOUL-DAILY
荷兰航空增加首尔日航班
SkyTeam member, KLM plans to increase Amsterdam - Seoul Incheon service from its current six weekly service to a daily, effective 27th March 2011. Alliance partner Korean Air also operates a thrice weekly service in a market where nearly 50,000 O+D passengers have flown between June 2009-10. KLM currently has a 50% of this market and will seek to increase this share with the additional frequency.

CHINA EASTERN BEGINS SERVICES TO KORLA

China Eastern has begun scheduled services from Shijiazhuang to Korla with an en route stopover via Xian. The route was launched August 20th with B737 equipment. China Eastern is the largest carrier operating from Shijiazhuang with a 24% share of all scheduled seat capacity.
东航已经开通石家庄-西安-库尔勒的定期航线。该航线于8月20日启动，采用B737机型。东航是石家庄机场最大的运营航空公司，占有24%的定期航班座位。
HONG KONG AIRLINES TO SERVE SHANGHAI HONGQIAO

Effective October 31st, Hong Kong Airlines will add a daily rotation to Shanghai Hongqiao. It will be the only carrier operating to Shanghai's secondary airport. The Hong Kong to Shanghai Pudong route has seen over two million passengers fly the route between June 2009-10 with five carriers serving the route non-stop. Dragonair currently operates 83 weekly flights, China Eastern (49), Shanghai Airlines (28), Cathay Pacific (11) and Hong Kong Airlines itself operating seven weekly services.

BANGKOK AIRWAYS RAMPS UP MYANMAR ROUTE

Thailand flag carrier, Bangkok Airways will double existing capacity into Myanmar with the launch of a second daily rotation from Bangkok to Yangon effective October 1st. The route is operated with narrowbody A320 equipment. It competes on the route with Thai Airways International which operates a double daily, as does Thai AirAsia with Myanmar Airways International offering a single daily frequency.

CATHAY PACIFIC TO INCREASE PARIS SERVICES

oneworld member, Cathay Pacific will increase its existing daily rotation between Hong Kong and Paris Charles de Gaulle to an eleven times weekly service in December. IATA BSP data shows that Cathay Pacific currently has a 42% share of the market with SkyTeam member Air France a 41% share of the 250,000 O+D passenger traffic between June 2009-10.
