Effective October 31st this year, Low cost-carrier, Tiger Airways is launching two new routes to India. It will be offering a four times weekly Singapore-Tiruchirapalli and a thrice weekly Singapore-Thiruvananthapuram service.
从今年10月31日开始，虎航将启动两条新的印度航线。包括每周四班新加坡-蒂鲁吉拉伯利航线和每周三班的新加坡-特里凡得琅航线。
From the same date, its existing Chennai service increases from eleven to fourteen weekly. According to IATA BSP data Tiger has an 8% share of the passenger traffic between Singapore and India with Singapore Airlines leading the way with 29%.

SKYTEAM MEMBER TO RESUME YIWU TO HONG KONG

Effective August 25th, SkyTeam member China Southern, which is based in Guangzhou, will begin a four times weekly service from Yiwu to Hong Kong. The route will be operated with B737-800 equipment. China Southern currently links Yiwu to Guangzhou with 28 weekly frequencies and four times a week services from Xiamen and Changsha.
从8月25日起，作为以广州为基地的星盟成员，南航将开通每周四班的YIWI-香港航线。该航线将由B737-800机型执飞。目前，南航运营每周28班义乌-广州航线以及每周四班从厦门和长沙起始的航线。
JETSTAR ADDS NEW ROUTES FROM PERTH

Qantas' low-cost subsidiary,Jetstar, has announced that it will add two new destinations from Perth, Western Australia. Jetstar currently operates 46 weekly flights from Perth to seven destinations. From December 10th, it will add a weekly service from Brisbane which is operated four times weekly by Qantas and will compete with the daily rotation offered by Virgin Blue.

From April 4th, Jetstar will also begin a new daily rotation to the Gold Coast from Perth. It will be the only non-stop scheduled link on a route that has seen over 41,000 O+D passengers fly from June 2009 -10 with Virgin Blue having a 66% share via Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide.

DRAGONAIR INCREASES VIETNAM LINKS

Effective Oct 31st, the beginning of Winter 2010, Dragonair will increase its existing weekly service from Hong Kong to Hanoi to ten times per week. IATA BSP data shows that Vietnam Airlines has a 45% share of the existing annual O+D market of 185,100 passengers.

HONG KONG EXPRESS ADDS DAILY SERVICE TO SAPPORO

Hong Kong Express will increase its existing four times weekly service from Hong Kong to Sapporo currently operated with B737-800 equipment. It faces existing competition on the route from Cathay Pacific which also operates a four times weekly service with widebody B747-400 equipment.
