New Xiamen service for Macau
Xiamen Airlines launches a three weekly JinJiang - Macau service from 05November10. The route will be operated using the carriers 737-800 aircraft. Flightbase schedule data (25-31 OCT) show the only direct scheduled competition on this route to be Air Macau who operate a thrice weekly service, also using 737 equipment.
Aeroflot plans daily Hong Kong service
27OCT GDS timetable display indicates that Aeroflot intend to increase their 5 weekly (4 in winter) Moscow Sheremetyevo - Hong Kong service to a daily frequency as of 27MAR11. SkyTeam carrier who will use A330-200 aircraft, will face competition from Cathay Pacific who also operate the Hong Kong - Moscow route into Moscow Domodedovo Airport on a thrice weekly service using A340-300 aircraft.
