With one month to go until Routes Europe in Tallinn opens, over 130 Head Quarter based decision makers from 70 airlines have already registered for this year’s event. This is the largest number of airline delegates ever registered for Routes Europe and will further strengthen the event’s position as the largest network planning event where airlines, airports and tourism authorities meet to discuss route development for the entire European region.
The Low-Cost sector is well represented this year with Ryanair, easyJet, Wizz Air, Norwegian, Germanwings, bmibaby, Vueling, Niki and Jet2.com all registered to attend along with a number of flag carriers including SAS, Lufthansa, LOT Polish, Czech Airlines and Turkish Airlines.
Regional carriers represented at Routes Europe in Tallinn include SkyWork Airlines, FlyBe and FlyBe Europe with several carriers making their inaugural appearance at the event such as; Blue Islands, Danube Wings and Darwin Airline. The entire up to date airline attendee list can be viewed here.
Routes Europe 2012 will also see the return of the Route Exchange Airline Briefings given by senior network planners. There are six airlines already signed up to deliver a briefing which will give airport delegates a unique insight into the decision making of some fastest growing carriers into Europe, the route development opportunities that exist and how airports can be part of their airline expansion.
Currently Aer Lingus, easyJet, Monarch Airlines, Ryanair, SkyWork Airlines and Volotea have all confirmed that they will deliver a Route Exchange Briefing in Tallinn and more are expected to confirm over the coming weeks.
