Both Mansoor Khan Sr. Specialist, Network Management for Saudi Airlines Cargo and George Weinmann, CEO of MEGA Maldives Airlines have confirmed that they will deliver briefings during the event. Saudi Airlines Cargo continues to reinforce its performance in the UAE market, confirming its position as one of the leading cargo airlines operating out of Dubai and Sharjah. During this airline briefing airports will hear what it takes to be a part of their continued growth strategy.
MEGA Maldives started with a vision to connect the Maldives and the region with new and growing markets around the world. After successfully launching services to multiple points in China and Korea and having expanded their commercial team attending airport delegates can discover what opportunities exist to develop services to Male, Maldives.
These ever popular briefings, given by senior network planners, are an opportunity for attending airports to gain an overview of the carriers, allowing them to view, first-hand, what information the airline requires from the airports when making route proposals. Two other high profile airlines have already confirmed that they will deliver a briefing outlining the route development opportunities that exist and how airports can be part of their airline expansion.
Bence Szabo, Manager, International Network for Qantas Airways will outline the carrier’s strategy in Asia, particularly following its recent agreement with Emirates and how this venture will shape Qantas’ future network planning in Asia. Jet Airways’ Vice President Planning, Anthony D’Sa will also deliver a briefing during the event giving an overview of India’s largest airline’s route development plans.
