Valencia Welcomes Back Ryanair
Ryanair has decided to return to Valencia in November, where it will base two aircraft and kick-start 10 new routes.
The decision follows agreement by Valencia's local Government to help Ryanair promote these routes internationally.
It'll be the carrier's 43rd base, which it served for over a year before pulling the base in November 2008.

Flydubai's Hattrick
flydubai landed in Colombo, Sri Lanka on Wednesday (June 23) - one of three new destinations the carrier has launched this week.
Colombo is its 21st route and the latest destination in the network, served four times a week. The service will compete with Sri Lankan Airlines and Mihin Lanka. Parent company emirates also serves the route.
On Sunday (June 20) the budget carrier opened its third Syrian destination, to Latakia. And on Monday, flydubai made its first foray into Pakistan with a new service to Karachi. It will be the 9th airline on the route, which carried over 908,000 O&D passengers between April 2009 and 2010.
The routes are all served with 737-800 NGs. Nine aircraft make up flydubai's single-type fleet.
KLM Adds Rwanda service
KLM will begin scheduled services from Amsterdam Schiphol to Kigali International in Rwanda from October 31.
It represents KLM's 64th intercontinental destination in the network and the carrier will offer five flights a week to Kigali using an A330-200, with a stopover in Entebbe.
There are currently no non-stops from Kigali to Europe, however Brussels Airlines offers a direct flight which also tags with Entebbe, with A330-300 equipment.
In East Africa, KLM currently serves Nairobi, Entebbe, Kilimanjaro and Dar Es Salaam.
Wizz Air Seeks CPH Slots
Budget carrier Wizz Air has applied for slots to serve four destinations from Copenhagen.
From October 31, the carrier will seek to serve three Polish destinations: Warsaw, Gdansk and Katowice as well as the Czech capital, Prague.
Wizz will seek to be located in the Swift terminal, which has led to a marked increase in LCC traffic in Copenhagen.
In terms of weekly flights operated, SAS has a 41% of the market, followed by Cimber Sterling (14%), Norwegian (9%) and easyJet (2%). Transavia, the Dutch-based LCC also has a base in Copenhagen and Ryanair is also seeking to operate services from CPH.
ANA Unveils Four Haneda Routes
Japan's Nippon Airways plans to serve Los Angeles, Honolulu, Singapore and Bangkok from Tokyo's Haneda on October 31.
The carrier has chosen to operate Boeing 777-300ERs to Los Angeles and Boeing 767-300ERs to Honolulu, Singapore, and Bangkok.
All of these routes are served out of Narita. From Bangkok 61x weekly by 5 carriers, Honolulu 51x weekly by 5 carriers, LAX 49x weekly by 7 carriers and Singapore 56x weekly by 5 carriers.
