This year’s Routes Europe event is really gaining momentum and registrations are flooding in. Germanwings, Ryanair and Wizz Air are amongst the carriers who have all confirmed their attendance this week alone.
The event, which will take place in Tallinn, Estonia on 20th – 22nd May this year is now in its 7th year and airline registrations, so far, indicate a strong low cost presence. Along with the aforementioned Wizz and Ryanair registrations have also recently been received from Norwegian.com, Jet2.com, Flybe, easyJet, Vueling and Germania.
In total 59 carriers are currently registered to attend Routes Europe in 2012. Network Planners and other key decision makers from a wide range of airlines will descend on the capital city of Estonia to discuss the future of air service development for the entire European region. Other confirmed carriers include Lufthansa, China Southern, Darwin Airline, Air Nostrum, Iberia, EuroLOT and Etihad Airways. The entire airline attendee list can be viewed here.
This year will also see more Route Exchange Airline Briefings continuing on from the success of the briefings given in 2011. Alan McIntyre, Head of Network and Schedule Development for easyJet and Lee Lipton, director of Network Planning for Aer Lingus have already confirmed that they will deliver a briefing in Tallinn with more airlines expected to confirm in the coming weeks.
